I've been looking to upgrade to a turbo in the near future. I have a 99 triple black cab, 6 speed, SSK, H&R suspension, Aerokit with Techart rear spoiler and fabspeed exhaust. It has 43,000 miles. I have been hit with around 30k or so from dealers, which seems a little disappointing. I know the mods don't add much or anything on a trade-in. Should I try to sell it with the extra's or part out the mod's and just trade it in and take my beating?

 

$34k is about right for that car and mileage IF in excellent condition.

 

It has a few rock chips in the hood, but other than that it's excellent. So, $34,000 with the aerokit, suspension and exhaust? Or would I be better off selling those separately?

 

sell it seperately. what does kbb say its worth on private party value?

 

KBB says 38 in good cond, and 40 if excellent. Seems higher than what's realistic, though. I will most likely remove the rims, exhaust, Techart spoiler and stereo system before trading or selling it. Thanks for the advice.

 

Wait until spring/summer to sell, prices in winter are really suppressed. Usually P-cars in the spring/summer sell for a couple grand above KBB.

Of course, if you're thinkin' of upgrading to a F-car or Turbo... probably not hurtin' for those couple extra grand.
