I started at 3 and firmed it to two and surprisingly the ride was no rougher. The most noticable difference at 2 was the near lack of roll. Tightened the corners up significantly. Congrats again on the PSS-9's. In my opinion they really make the car what it should be.

arthurk,

This may be a little bit off-topic: but I really want to know something about your rear bumper. Is it a brand new bumper without the bumperettes holes? Or you did something on the factory bumper? Where did you get it if it is a new one?

Thanks

Quicksilver,

If you noticed my license plate it is not a US based vehicle. Unlike you guys we do not get those rediculous add ons to the front or the rear of the bumpers. I seriously cannot see what the advantage is of having those on the car. I live in Australia and have always wondered why you have those on the cars

Regards

Your car look really nice but I think if you went to 25" all around it would look very mean. You might want to ask Ben (ben,lj) what height he has his 996 Cab. at because it look really good at the height he has it set.

David,

Totally agree. 25" all around looks mean. I will let it settle and see how it goes from there. I fear if I lower it to 25" and I put on the GT3 nose it will be destroyed within hours of driving it.

arthurk, please let us know how the clearance is once you install the GT3 nose with your final height. I have a GT3 nose and am planning on the PSS-9's. Also if you have the bottom lip splitter that's an 1-2". Not worth installing it in your opinion? Thanks

had my PSS-9 installed today. Car looks great lowered. I push the car hard all the time and didn't feel a lot of difference. Maybe in the turns tommorrow....

Hopefully will help my track times...

The GT3 nose w/o the splitter IMO doesn't look right. If you put the GT3 nose on, you should put the splitter on as well. If Real GT3's don't have an issue with scraping then you shouldn't. You just have to be careful on bumps and driveways.

Ken,

I noticed a bit of a difference but I was going from standard not 030 - how about you? I too, as msindi noticed was a lack of nose dip on both hard acceleration and braking. Also the rebound was more precise.

It is amazing how you need to become comfortable with the car again and learn its new limits. It is like driving the car for the first time again. It also reminds me more of the drive I had on my 993.

Also I tend to agree with Itzkirb that the complete kit needs to be installed on the nose. Otherwise you miss out on the total look of the nose. My concern is speed humps and driveways not everyday driving issues

arthurk, hows everything going; suspension, GT3 nose and the splitter? Is your splitter still there? What height did you finally end up at. I'm about to do the nose/splitter and I'm at 25 3/4". Do you foresee any problems? Thanks, Lincoln

Pieball, I must admit I have yet to pull my finger out and get around to doingthe GT3 nose. At the same time though I am semi concerned about the nose without the rear spoiler. The last thing I want to do is give reason to an insurance company to not honour an accident of some sort or another. In Oz we have a max speed limit of 110 (km/h) unless you are in the outback where you can go till the needle pops off the gauge. With this in mind I dont believe it will have a negative effect on the aerodynamics and will get around to installing one soon.

ArthurK I should have mine installed in the next couple of weeks. I think I'm gonna leave the splitter unpainted though. It's inevitable that it'll kiss at some point and generate paint damage, maybe I'll paint it black. My M030 isn't real low and am still contemplating the PSS9's. Let me know how you make out when you're installed. Do you ever go into the outback and really run it?!

I wish I could. The drive to get there is over 1500km before I can open her up. Maybe one day, go straight up the guts of Oz and see how fast I can take her
