I have the x74 in my 99 and have been very happy with it. It's a lot lower than my U.S. M030 was. Stiffness is equivalent to a friend's '04 GT3. Depending on the road surface in your area, and the budget you have, the ROW M030 may be a good compromise. I agree with most of these guys that the PSS9's, for the money, offer increased flexibility over the X74 when purchased new. I wish you were local 'cause I'd probably give you the U.S. M030 that came out of my car.

i am in law school and this is totally right. having such a silly clause that states that they will void the warranty that you paid for on the entire car based upon an aftermarket modification you do to a part of the car is absurd. it falls into the realm of unconscionablity and would not be enforced.

As a future attorney be careful about dealing in absolutes. Its all up to the judge, or the jury if you get that far. I agree that it shouldn't be enforced but he's right that there is a risk that it will be. There is also the add'l problem of creating a reason for them to deny the warranty claim. And most of those places are itching for a reason to minimize the amounts paid on claims and maximize their profits.

what i said presupposed that you have a sane judge sitting in a typical jurisdiction as far as commonlaw precedent goes on this matter. if this is the case the clause will not be upheld. there are always anomalies however.

also i agree about being better safe than sorry in this situation. i just hate contracts of adhesion such as these where the big guy thinks he can put whatever crap he wants into a contract because he believes that people will simply take it as the gospel truth since it is "in the contract". i wanted the threadstarter to know that precedent is probably by his side on this one and that he should not let it unecessarily limit his p car enjoyment should he so choose.

sane and judge doesn't necessarily go in the same sentence.
