Anyone Selling used X74 Kit?
Huh??? What warranty do you need to protect? The suspension you are replacing? They will NEVER know its aftermarket...the OEM is made by Bilstein...If they will not allow warranty on the suspension, the PSS9 has a lifetime warranty on it.....
My car has a thrid party extended warranty. it is written in my contract that if I have made changes to the suspension (non-porsche) the warranty will not be honored for the ENTIRE car and I forfit payments made. Thrid party aftermarket warranties DO NOT need to follow the Magnusson-Moss warranty act.
That is why it must be a Porsche suspension.
Ray S, thanks, I need to find a local member with it installed and go for a test drive.

That will never hold up in court, and the warranty company knows that. It is simply a scare tactic. That's like a dealer saying replacing a light bulb with a xenon style will void your tire warranty.

You do seem to understand. It is NOT a manufactures warranty. It is from Warranty Direct. It states it in the contract that I signed and if I break the contract... THEY WIN. That is how a judge will see it.
Manufacture warranties work very differently and I am fully aware of the Magnusson-Moss act. This does not fall under that.
"This Vehicle Service Contract Provides NO Coverage or Benefits for the following:
G. IF ANY ALTERATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO YOUR VEHICLE OR YOU ARE USING, OR HAVE USED, YOUR VEHICLE IN A MANNER NOT RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THIS WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, THE FAILURE OF ANY CUSTOM OR ADD-ON PART; ANY FRAME OR SUSPENSION MODIFICATIONS; LIFT KITS; OVERSIZED/UNDERSIZED TIRES OR WHEELS; TRAILER HITCHES; AND OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE ENGINE, EMISSIONS OR EXHAUST SYSTEMS."

PTarga, Thanks for editing your response. (the first one came to my mailbox).
Warranty issues aside. Getting back to the reason I posted the thread, it looks like there is not much of a market in second hand Porsche suspension kits. On top of that their pricing is very reasonable considering they include dampers, springs, anti-roll bars and bushings. I will probably order a kit new.
I have search the archives and found that many are quite happy with the Porsche kits however they do differ a great bit in ride quality, height, etc. I suppose my next step is to find local owners with each of the set ups and ask for a ride to make my own assessment.

I've run adjustible setups on other cars in the past and know the bennifits. I have also heard good things about the PSS9 system as it was highly regarded in the S2000 community (my previous car).
