New member & question

Hello everybody!

First of all - I am a new member from Germany.

I have two Porsches: A 996 Carrera as my daily car & a 986 Boxster S as a "fun car" for the weekend.

I am contentedly with both cars - but the appearence of the 996 rear lights by night isn´t really good.
Only a small square on the edge is illuminated. Especially if you drive through fog or rain, you can barely see a 996 driving in front of you.
A better lighting would be a plus of security, wouldn´t it?

Has anyone modified the rear lights yet?
Or are there any aftermarket lights (propably in the 997 style with the clear glass)?

Best regards, Cade

Welcome to 6 speed and nice cars. Try hosting the pics at imageshack and then pasting them in your message.

Never heard of doing anything to the rear lights. Sorry.

there is a rear fog light. Just turn on your fog light switch, may be that would help.

In Germany it is only allowed to use the fog light if the sight is less than 50 meters.

Furthermore the fog light is just on the left side - it looks asymmetrical if you have it on...
