As I was getting onto I295, blazing through traffic dodging the slow-pokes, I happened to notice a car darting through traffic to catch me. As usual, I pay close attention to my surrounding when driving, especially when driving more on the agressive side.
This was a low-profile trooper tailing me and I backed off immediately from 85mph to 65mph. He was about 200 feet back navigating traffic during my cool down and he finally caught up to me. I was crusing around 65, everyone was passing me, and he stayed on my 7 o'clock for about 2 miles over the Buckman Bridge.
Finally he decided to pass, quite slowly, giving me the eye the whole time. I was going to gesture politely but decided to keep my eyes forward and focused. Later down the road I blazed past him stuck in heinous traffic but man I though for sure I was going to get pulled over.

I kind of had a incident like that, I was driving from SD to Texas and through Lordsburg, New Mexico on I-10 I was just cruising at 100 it was about 2 in the morning, well I saw a NM State Police car drive across an overpass while I pass a slow *** van doing about 50 and I just keep on my merry way with one eye on the road on one in the rear view mirror. About a mile after the overpass and I see two pairs of headlights and there was nobody behind me except for the van, and believe me I can tell cars just by their headlights so I quickly notice it is a crown vic. and I just release the gas and slow to 75 (the speed limit) If you have seen the video of the Teckedemicts (sp?) M3 and the two Ducati's being chased it was just like that, around a long bend he passes the van like it is standing still and when he is about 1/4 mile behind me the K-Band go off full blast. He was behind me the whole way to Deming at my 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock and then my 12, taking a really good look at the car. He finally pulled off the highway to help a disabled car and I was careful the rest of the way out of NM. And made it to Texas ticket free in 13H 28M. That was a 1386 Mile trip.

this was before my p-car days, but one night in LA area, I was driving on the 605 heading north going about 115 in the middle of the night around 1am. all of a sudden, there was this bright beam hitting me from behind, I thought I was doomed.
when I look in my rear view mirror, there was not 1, 2 or even 3 police cruisers behind me, there was 4. needless to say, I slow down to 60 and they all passed me one by one, every car was full of officers. Yes, 4 in every car and everyone of them gave me a dirty look as they drive by. I could'nt figure it out. there was 16 police officers all seen what I did and they did'nt pull me over?????????
When I got home, my parents asked me where I've been and did I know there was riots in downtown.
That's when I figure everything out.
