yes they are! A friend of mine, who shall remain nameless but his initials are TC(Houston), wanted to do a full wheel detail once including removing, fully cleaning, and waxing the wheels. I just don't care enough about cleaning stuff that gets so dirty so fast.

Just wait till your tips start to get that mellow yellow gold look to them. It was looking cool for a while until they started to get a little bronze hue to them.

Plus I had to get that satin look back into them... to match the Fikses, of course!

Now let's have a Houston Inside the Wheel Detail Party! TC's place...

If you coat your tips and pipes and muffler with RejeX, they won't turn brown, and in fact they will clear right up and look like polished stainless. No joke, and bugs and brake dust won't stick either!
