I have the JIC's with H&R sways and originally used the factory drop links. When I went to get my car corner balanced, I did have to put adjustable drop links on (as you eluded to in your first post) for the corner balance to work. When using the factory drop links and a lower suspension, there was tension that was preloading the sway bars, thus making it impossible to corner balance.

This ruined my whole idea of saving some money by using H&R sways and factory drop links, knowing what I know now I would have gone with the gt3 sways.

With that said, my car handles fantastic and I can't wait to get it on the track in a couple of weeks and really see what it can do. I would highly recommend talking to a shop that knows what they're doing - I used GMG and was very pleased. They're also a site sponser which I like as well.

Good luck!!

Hey, from what I understand, the x74 and GT3 use the same sway bars. I think the x74 basically comes with GT3 swaybars.

M030 comes with pretty flimsy ones, if any. They may be stock, but I never looked very much into it.

Roger,

I believe to install the PSS9s and the H&R sway-bars it was around $1100. I then had the car corner balanced and alignment done at Custom Alignment in MV that was another $320. Well worth the money spent. I don't remember the cost of the H&R sway-bars the PSS9s ~$2K.

Shock/Strut install is *easy*. A little time consuming if you have to change out the hats but definitely a d.i.y. if you look at renntech.org and take your time.

I bought my PSS9 at shox.com $1800 at the time. $1000 for install and align, balance etc at local Porsche indie. H&R sways $650 at tirerack, $250 for install...but these are easy to do yourself, given proper tools etc.

i used shox.com and got them for the same price.

the salesman told me that that was a web mistake and that they would be upping the price soon. not sure if they ever did though.

I bit the bullet and ordered front and rear adjustable drop links from Tarret Engineering, and Front and Rear OEM GT3 Sway Bars. Now all I have to do is install them!
