Time for rear tires...what size?
315s + 235s
1+ on Fabryce. My setup is 315s (offset 67) + 235s (offset 57) and there is plenty of room even with -2 camber at the rear. I was undecided between 235s and 245s to avoid addtl understeer. Anyone run 315s and 245s on track?

More camber = more space at the fender. Max tire size and a lot of camber in the rear is a good recipe for understeer, all other things equal. If you want to avoid this you may have to compensate with camber, tire & wheel size in the front. And/or sway bar settings if you can.
NOTE: Despite its "bad rep" in circles like these, some understeer i good. A constantly over-steering car may be fun around street corners, but useless if you want to go fast. A ar that steps out every time you hit the gas will never be efficient. For good car control, you need to be able to adjust the attitude of your car - in both directions...

Understeer/Oversteer Car Control
Thank you for that. This the exactly why this forum is great. Because I lack adjustable sways, do have you any experience with spacers on the fronts (and/or rears?) to help manipulate the OS/US issue?
I have no personal experience of 997 wheels, but adding a set of 7 mm spacers in the front would bring them back to 996 OE specs for 8x18 front wheels. At the moment the track of your car is a bit narrow at the front. This change would probably improve steering feel and - if you don´t touch the rear - reduce understeer a little bit. And don´t forget longer wheel bolts! (GT3 bolts are +5mm, that would do it.) For above reason I would not add spacers in the rear. I guess your 11x18 ET 67 fills up the wheel wells pretty good anyway, don´t they?
If you´re still not happy with the US/OS balance of your car, I would work with the chassi setup of what you have before adding adjustable sways etc.
For less US, you can add more negative camber in the front. On the 996 there is less adjustability in the front than in the rear, so you´ll have to start there. On a stock 996 with lowered springs you can probably get as far as -2 deg camber in the front. You would want less in the rear, especially with the large wheels you are using.
A good shop (with Porsche experience!) will help you.
