Anyone ever run NO2 on a 3.4 or 3.6 996 engine?

I'm thinking about picking up a 996 C2 as a fun project car, making it an excellent track / mountain / canyon car.

The steering on c2's is so crisp, and I think the power is fine for most purposes, but I might want a bit of passing power for pesky traffic or other fun.

I was thinking a 75 shot might give me the power i want.

Has anyone ever run N02 on a NA 996 engine?

Thanks

Ting

I haven't heard of anybody doing with the M96 (NA 3.4L/3.6L) engine. Given that the compression ratio is already 11:1. I have heard of a couple people doing this to their TT engines though.

With 315-320hp for the 3.6L it has PLENTY of passing power even in 6th. Drive one first!

I did once, but that was about it for the NOS and the engine. I wouldn't try even if it wasn't my car.

Jenner,

We used to own a y2k 996 cab......I've driven plenty of them over the years.

plus compared to my 2003 z06 (390 rwhp), or 99 viper ACR (425 rwhp) , or my previous 500 rwhp MKIV supra, 320hp isn't that much.........a NA 996 is a quick car, not a super fast car.
