Tire air compressor

From having owned the E46 M3 with low profile tires and now this 996 for short time I have learned or some might say become more neurotic about checking my tire pressures. Especially this time of year when temps can fluctuate widely. What do you all think or does anyone have any experience with this tire air compressor?:

I have been looking at it for a while and liked it because it can be used cordless or can be plugged into the car's lighter. I just haven't been able to find anyone else that carries it, or find any reviews of it.

I don't have first hand knowledge of that exact model, But I once used one similar. It seemed to take forever to add just a few lbs psi, It was a real pain to use. If you have the room, I would look for a portable compressor at Sears, {or another place like them} they always have some on sale, and if you are going to use for tire inflation only, should be able to get one for around $100.

I just picked one up at Home Depot, $80. 3 Gal. 100psi. and is very quiet. So far it seems to work well.

I didn't have good luck with the tankless pumps. So I ended up getting a nice little upright 1.5 gallon unit from Home Depot. I think was $80-$90 with hose and accessories. Now all my cars have perfect air pressure every Sat morning.

I also added a very compact air ratchet from Sears and the pair come in handy for fasteners in tight places (like when I added and then removed my PSE).

If you want cordless and tankless, then the Campbell-Hausfeld cordless inflater at Walmart cannot be beat. It's about $40, and I use one for my "spare air" at the track. And most of the time I use it around the garage when I need to add a few pounds of pressure to my tires.
