Decalfx.com Head/Tail Overlays

http://www.decalfx.com/pre_cut_lens_film_kits.html

I was wondering if anyone has used these guys before. I am looking into smoking my head and tail lights. Nothing dark just a little tint. These look pretty easy. I know its just Vinyl and I even have my own plotter and could cut them myself if I wanted to take the time to trace out the patern and find the transparent material.

But for $50 its not really worth the time.

Also has anyone here personally done it with window tint, like I hear you can do? How hard was it?

Thanks

Thanks, I am in Florida and we barely get messed with at all. No emissions, and most of the cops don't mess with the luxo cars.

Yeah we are pretty lucky in Florida. They take most of thier time messing with the sport compact tuner cars. I have a lot of friends who have evo's, STI's and other cars like that and they weem to get messed with all the time. I only ever had one problem in my modded Mroadster, and so far no issues with the P-car.

Back to the question, how are people tinting thier headlights???

82targa is infamous around these parts
the problem with doing it is if you use tint you have to apply it wet. You get problems with water getting stuck behind and bubbling later when it gets hot. Same thing with vinyl. I tried it already and it takes a lot away from the intensity of the litronics at night anyway. Your best bet is to just make eyebrows or a partial cover of the headlights if you dont like the existing style that some other company already manufacturers. I'll do eyebrows later and tint the rear lights completely and post pics when its all done.
