pss9 install questions

How difficult is the install, is this a home install job and then take it in for alignemnt? How do you adjust ride hiegth? Easy to figure out and then take in for alignment?

Sold on doing it just don't know if I should bite the bullet and take it to a shop or do it myself

PSS9 install

If you do a search here and on Rennlist you will find many discussions, including some who have done a DIY. However, you will need to have an alignment done after the install.

I believe when I looked at the kit I bought it had all the directions on how to do it. I wouldn't call myself a motor-head I do a little wrenching on the car but I left this up to the experts at sharkwerks.

I think another concern you should have is corner balancing after the PSS9 are installed as well as an alignment. If your going to do the PSS9s you might as well put on front and rear B&M sway-bars this makes a HUGE difference when paired with the PSS9s. I can't describe how well my car handles after this upgrade, I have a 2001 C4.

Good luck

Sharkwerks did the work ask Alex, it's possible at my advanced age my hearing is going bad and he said another brand I am pretty sure that was the only brand to use on the C4 from what I remember in conjunction with the PSS9s.

Dependent upon overall mileage on your car will dictate what else may need replacing.
Any reliable local shop with a lift-time-patience should be able to install.
I'm sure doing a bit of research will provide all nessesary data for do the install.

They are the sweetest once installed, I love mine!

Cheers
Mark

Hi Mountain C4, I wouldn't recommend doing them on a C4. The front end is a lot more challenging than on a C2. Unless you have a lift and have some experience I would take it to a shop honestly.... A lot of stuff can/could go wrong and you could also do some damage...

Sorry to do that to ya It's just a bit finicky in the AWD flavor. The C2s are a good deal easier and less chance of anything getting damaged In the Denver area.. Hmm. Nothing comes to mind. Guys?
