I noticed today on my '04 C2 (equipped with PCM and the six disc changer) that for the first time, one CD was actually "named" on the graphic display: Chicane (Beneath the Sun). This is really cool, and I would like all of my CDs to display this information. Are the individual CDs encoded to do this, or how do I set this function up? I don't recall ever "naming" this CD, certainly not on this car, but possibly on my C32 AMG. The other five CDs in the changer were not identified by name on the PCM display. As an aside, Chicane rocks!

 

I thnk it depends on the CD itself as to whether it already has that info or not...EIther way, on the new PCM II ou can manually enter the name of the CD and all the tracks if you wish
Cool thing is I burned a CD once with my new Roxio 6 instead of 5 and all the individual track names and artists came up in the TT!!
