Will these wheels Work??

Hey guys, Quick question....Im looking at some wheels (oem 997s wheels to be exact) But i want to make sure they will fit my 2001 NB 996. They are listed as OEM 997S with 57 and 67 mm offsets? Im dont know much about this "offset" business. Does anyone know if they are OK???

Thanks in advance!!!

Should work,

Do a search for my brother's car "newport996". I believe he is running 997 19" wheels with no problem.

Careful the 997 Carrera Sport Designs are agressive at 11" wide. Running a 295 may have you thinking twice. I think a better set up would be running a 285, just my .02 since you do have a narrow body. The C4S has wide hips not the C4 althought the weight is still there.

Yes they'll fit.

It's the same set up I have on my C2 cab.

I would keep shopping, the price is too high. I bought mine on ebay for $2000, brand new (wheels and tires). I've seen them going for $2000 - $2200 so if you're not in a rush keep looking.

Cheers,
Stan

11" rears are no problem at all with that offset.....remember 996 GT3's are narrow bodies with 11" rears....Yes I run 997 rims and 997 tires sizes...

John,

What size spacers did you end up using up front?

Cheers,
Stan

Do you think 18mm will work or do the 15mm fill to the max?

18mm will probably work....thats not a huge difference...I will have to look at my car and see how much room there is...but 15mm looks great.....
