rear wing

I'm not sure why this wing is so expensive. It does not replace the engine cover and it resuses the factory plastic grill on top. You essentially get the wing, which attaches to you factory decklid, and then the grill is placed on top. It's a big chunk of change for a somewhat basic fiberglass wing, but I love it! I'm surprised no one has knocked this one off yet as it would be much simpler than a bumper I would guess...

Make that 4 sold I have me and my friends c4 that wants one too. I have said this for months that they need to make a knock off of that wing and the ta type II front bumper for 99-01 996 narrow bodys.
I bought the coolest wing for my turbo at PepBoys last night. Aluminum braces, carbon fiber wing, it is going to be *****in when I glue it on this weekend. Pics are coming.

i threw away my stock decklid when i put my turbo look one on there. now i wish i hadn't. due to my sick obsession, i bought one off ebay for $100 in preparation this week. i'm just having a hard time pulling the trigger on the wing due to the price.
it's just so damn expensive considering it reuses the stock decklid and grill. i'm not sure why it costs so much but i love the way it looks.

This is what pisses me off about owning a P-car. It's like the aftermarket thinks "Porsche" is German for "lets break it off up in you." There is no reason on earth why that wing should be so expensive other than them NOT wanting you to buy one. What gives? I have a tuner mag here with all kinds of parts for Jap cars and the prices are so much lower than anything for P-Cars. Why? Misha, PLEASE knock off that wing! I'll buy one tomorrow. I really dig his GT2 wing, but that type II wing is bad-***. I wonder how many interested parties are sufficient to motivate production?
