Just to understand this correctly... since I have a 99 C4, this means it has E-gas? Accordingly, I can put a 3.8L X-51 motor with core change for $5800 plus labor? - How much is labor? Also, what is the difference in horsepower and torque to the wheels?

Anyone know anthing about this engine? I hear that the engine upgrade is not that reliable. Never really heard anything about this engine.

all kidding aside, the centrifugal blowers are very linear. they build boost (ie HP) as the rpm increase. just like your NA car. there is no big sudden surge in power like in a turbo. other than extra HP, it would be very difficult to tell a EVO 996 is SC'd as they're very quiet as well.
