ryalex is infamous around these parts
While some have suggested just getting a TT instead of adding a SC, the difference is he has a cabriolet, and if he wants a 400+hp cab, turbo cabs are still very pricey. If he wanted a coupe then TT would be the way to go.

I wanted RPM to install an earo kit on my car...and at that time, they were hesitant to do it because they were not happy with a shop that they currently were using. They were up front with me and I wound up getting it painted and installed it myself...no biggie, saved some $$ at the same time. I believe all this is changed now.
Im taking my car back to have some maintenance work and have them look over my SC installation before track season... I talked to Russ, he has a 997 c4S SC installation at his shop right now.

Evo claims over 150 SCs sold and no failures. Near 500 HP in a NB car with rear drive is a whole different animal than a TT. But just as much fun? If they don't blow up and you love ur car and plan to keep it, then 170 HP bump for 10 Gs isn't a bad deal. My 2 cents.

And that shows their honesty! BTW let's get a few of us together to head out for some track sessions this spring/summer, i went a few times last summer but never wound up going with any of the guys i met from RPM or even on 6speed, seems there are alot more LI/NY guys popping up, so let's set it up

Noo i didn't mean renting out the track for a day, just everyone agreeing on a certain PCA event or DE , and all heading out to the track

BTW im not a drag guy but a few guys i know in NY will want to go to Etown this spring (Joe/Joetwint and Tom/Topgun) to test out their new setups, so thats a possibility also, i'll keep you updated!

For sure man, well that is a big decision/purchase, drive a few cars before a decision though, I'm not A big Viper person despite having friends with them and going out ith the Viper club all of the time, I mean they are cool, quick and so on just not my style! I would go for an older turbo to be honest, 993tt

I hear ya......I ended up going over to RPM today to check out the shop and feel them out... Russ is an awesome guy and they had an array of cars over there.....Everything from Kleman SC 500SL to a 540i SC, Supercharged Mustang, they had a C4S there with a SC ready to install which was insane. I had no idea they dealt with everything like that......Its hard to make a choice. I am going to talk to Russ about it a little more and do some research to see what the best bang for the buck is to make a high powered track car. I love the 993's body style but I have had a tough time getting over the dated interior. Maybe you know something i dont though to sway me haha

I'm sure if you drove a 993TT back to back with a 996TT stock for stock you would understand Throw some 996TT hollowspokes on there, GT3 seats and it updates the car a lot, the car is flat out awesome. How about an Exige S? Noble? Tons of cars man, GT3 Let me know when you are going to RPM next, I have to drop my car off this week anyway for some goodies and to get ready for track season!
