Phaser 2 Jammer....Any Opinions

I heard an ad on the radio about this Phaser 2 Jammer on my way up to NJ this weekend. I was thinking about getting it, but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with a jammer before, especially this one. I currently live in VA, but travel around MD and DC as well for work, then up to NJ for family. Where are they legal, where are they not.....is it worth it. I currently have a Valentine 1 which I LOVE, but thought I would get this as well just in case for those really fun rallies!!!
Thanks.

Jammers are illegal in every state. Furthermore, they don't work, and easily detected by police. Don't buy it.

Not true. Laser jammers are legal in most states and many have been tested as being highly effective. Radar jammers are (to the best of my knowledge) illegal in all states, although from what I understand there are kits available that are somewhat effective (depending on power output).

My answer to the original poster is as follows. I do not own a Phaser and I have not personally tested one, but from what I have read it is junk.

Nothing by RMR or Rocky Mountain Radar will jam laser or radar and their radar detection sucks.

Here is a video of RMR products not jamming anything:

Radar is controlled by the FCC.

Laser is controlled by the FDA.

Like these guys said, Laser jamming is OK but anything that actually works to jam radar is illegal. All the stuff you hear for sale are passive jammers and aren't illegal because they simply don't work

Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation; Laser. you cannot "jam" a laser. It is a beam of light. You can absorb it so it does not reflect or perhaps deflect in another direction so the return signal will not be read by the gun or what ever the device is called. Rember, you can paint a target with a laser and your buddy in his F18 can blow it up. If laser jammers were commercially available, you would not see a tank, truck or what ever vehicle blown up on CNN.
Saver your money.

ya except that tanks are not only blown up by laser guided munitions.... most of the stuff seen on CNN are IED or heat seaking or DUMB bombs or shoulder fired non-guided rockets.

these LASER jammars basically confuse the return signal to the laser gun by sending multiple intense IR blasts to the laser

Doesn't anyone just make a cop detector? like on your nav screen. it could give you little red blips where the cops are. Blue if they are in the air.
