i must praise you again for your talent especially if it's your first time. i too am a mac guy and will now for the first time try imovie.
as for music i suggest some hardcore gangsta rap, or some 2 live crew. j/k i think instrumental beats would work great.

This is my first attempt using iMovie on a Mac to cut this video. The toughest thing was to trim the 90 minutes of video to show as many cars as I can in the run. My DV camera was mounted on the passenger's visor but will develop an exterior mount for better video on the next run. I am thinking about adding some music to spice up the continuing videos. Any suggestion? Fast beating instrumental, perhap?

Personally, I prefer to hear the normal ambient sounds than a music or other dubbed soundtrack, especially for car runs where the dubbed music might overlay on top of the exhaust sounds we all want to hear as a p-car goes screaming by.
