Question xenons add on to 2002 C4S?

am trying to pull the trigger on a nice 2002 C4S with 21K miles, sport seats,- but no xenons, which is important to me.

anyone have experience with a kit like xenon depot vs trying to put '01 oem or factory litronics on an '02 or later C4S? (jeff at Sunset Porsche parts said that the 2001 factory units won't plug and play.)

in exhange for the dramatically lower price , you don't get the correctly engineered reflector and lens, along with drilling a few holes inside the trunk.

soooo, can you get 80-90% percent of the good, correct light with the cheaper kit, or try and suck it up and muscle the 2001 factory litronics into the 2002 car?
thanks
bob

No Halogens were standard Equipment on the 996 MKII also. Xenon were options. Reason why almost all MKII 996's have Xenon because they were part 1 of 2 Package avaliable... Also sugested by the Dealer having Xenon keeps the Resale Value Up... Because its a desiarable options to have, MUST HAVE

bzalforno - Get the car and get "OEM Xenon Headlights" of ebay... They range anywhere from $500-$800. Just wate for a good deal on Ebay, they are there all teh time, you just have to be paitent.

I still can't get over the fact that an $80K+ car doesn't come standard with HID headlights.
