Great write-up and pics. Almost did the same thing to my '03 C2 before selling it to buy a TT. And, like you, the little seats in back were crucial to my wife signing off on getting a 911, since her being pregnant with our first and the S2000 not looking like something the family could enjoy together came into play quickly.
