Battery replacement how-to?

After taking off the +/- cables, I noticed the stock battery was still tied down somewhere...is this from that plate sitting on the left (passenger side) of the battery? I can't tell if it's actually securing the battery or not but can only assume it is. If that's the case...I need to find my extension!

Thanks Kevin...I just wanted to make sure that was the only thing bolting it down.

You'll need to change out the hold down should you opt for an after-market something.... Keep that in mind,

I took my old battery to Pep Boys and they had an exact fit replacement made by Bosch. I think it was $115. I would take the old one along if you go this route. It took them three trips to the backroom to find the right one. An hour after I took out the old one, I was back on the road.

I just went with a size 48 replacement from the local store.

I think this was the first time I took my shoes off to change a battery lol...ended up standing in the trunk to pull it out.
