How fast can your car go?
According to the speedo, mine can do 200mph. Which has me a bit confused, as I've been looking at replacing the faces and everyone seems to think I should have a speedo which goes up to 175mph.
Does anyone else have a 2002 C2 Cab with a 200mph speedo?

Damn, so putting in a 300mph speedo won't make my car go faster?
Yep - sorry if the humor was a little too subtle - I'm trying to find out if there is *any* way my speedo is the one which was supplied with the car. As I bought it second hand, there is a possibility someone pulled a fast one on me and it's actually got a higher mileage than the speedo says. If so, I want to know asap so I can get in touch with my lawyer!

With the 02 Facelift came a slightly different Instrument Gauge Setup...

Interesting! I've got all black faces, and am looking to swap them out for aluminum.... If yours are aluminum rather than white, I smell a possible swap here...
PM me if you are interested

Your owner's manual tells you your cars top speed, in Porsches it is
often redline in top gear so to increase the speed you must increase the RPM or rolling diameter.
(which usually takes added HP to push it thru the wind faster). A good GPS device is much more accurate than our speedometers which probably goes without saying. (I also had a 99 Carerra!)
