Yokohama AVS Sports are a great tire. They stick like glue, have a strong sidewall and are excellent in the rain. They also are cheaper in price and are readily available. Gives your car a more aggressive look too. Check out Tirerack.com.

 

Has anyone on here had Goodyear F1 GS D3s? Any comparison?

 

Based upon my own experience with the BS S-03, it is the best tire I have ever owned. Perhaps the best thing about the S-03 is its wet handling capability. On any rainy day it simply handles like if the road were dry. The draw back would be higher fuel cost and low thread life. Yet, I think the benefit is more than worth the expense.

 

i tried the yoko avs. no good. conti sports are good and the p-zero russo are as good as the conti's. i went to the solo2 autocross on sunday march 28 and tried the perelli corsa. by far and i mean by FAAARRR the best summer tire you can buy, but absolutely not a wet tire. no comparison to any other than hooiser or kumo slicks.
