Your opinion on tires!

Hi,

i need a set new summer tires which one would you choose.

Now im ridin Conti SportContact 2 which is not the badest but i want a sportier tire.

3 options:

1.Pirelli P Zero

2.Michelin Pilot Sport

3.Bridgestone -S02

I heard the P Zero is a good allround sport tire.

What you guys think?

regards,

DDW

I have loved my Pilot Sports on my P car and BMW's.

They are not a long lasting tire but handle very well.

I have heard the Michelins are probably the best all around tire, but last the shortest, and are the most expensive. I have the Pirelli P Zeros and they are head & shoulders better than the Conti's that I had.

I have Pilot Sport Ribs and the S02a's. I just switched to the S02as, and my first impression is that they are a slightly softer, more comfortable tire than the ribs, with slightly less immediate turn-in. Both are great tires.

Bridgestone S-03s are best in terms of grip, turn in, and cost while MPS are best all around as they last longer then the S-03s. The new MPS2 is supposed to be great, but I have not driven a car with them yet. Hope this helps.

I like the SO-3's for the money. I think you pay a lot more for the MPS. I just went from P-zero's to SO3 and love the difference- quieter, smoother, better grip. TC

Hows the tread life for the PS2? Tirerack gave the PS 6 or 7 for tread life, better than my stock Conti that lasted about 14,000 miles
