I've got an aesthetics question for my fellow 996ers. Here's what my car looks like (got this image off the internet, but everything's the same except for the wheels):
As many of you know, Fuchs is making some modern versions of their famous windmill wheels. This is what the standard wheel color options look like:
Of those options, I think the the ones with the silver petals are the coolest, BUT, here's the one I want your opinions on. They are totally unpainted:
So, my friends, what do you think? If you hadn't guessed, I'm not super tied to what went on widebody v narrowbody back in the old days. Just want to get some outside opinions on my idea before I drop the $$$!
Recently joined the club and added some DRLs. These are a test set (cheap auction site version). Eventually, I'll get a higher quality set, but happy with the result and added visibilty.
Picking up my new C4S next week. Guards Red over black. Bone stock. Factory options were red console, red belts, embossed seat crests, and draped leather. 85k miles, Clutch/IMS/RMS/etc. done 3 years/10k miles ago. I had been shopping for a C2, but managed to find this one within my budget. Replacing my Guards Red over black 1989 944S2.

I agree the Fuchs with the silver petals are the coolest. Like to see them on my car.
For the first time in 10 years of ownership, I may need snow tires. I've been told they do not make snow tires for factory set of wheels. Anyone running snows? What are my options?
