Hey, any chance you have some pictures? Is this an Aerokit spoiler for the C4S? Thanks.

I am sorry but I forgot to ask, did this come off a coupe or cab. Mine is a coupe.

Pretty sure it's the same part for both, but in any case, this was left in a shop by the shop's previous owners. It was on a shelf for many years. I have no info on its origin.

If it fit a Turbo, I'd have bought it for my car...

The C4S cab and the turbo use the same size rear cover, so they are interchangeable. The 4S coupe uses a different size, it's actually shorter. The 4S coupe is the only 996 that is not interchangeable with any other 996 variant. I have been trying to search the part number off your pictures, but can not determine for sure which one it is. I am sure you can understand me not wanting to spend a bunch of money and it not fit. May I ask where you are located, maybe I can see it and measure it.

Well, I have a 996 Turbo cab and this lid is significantly shorter, so I'm guessing it's for a coupe. I'm in Los Angeles, on the West side. Not that close to IdyHo...

Happy to take any measurements you want.

wonder if it's a different dimension because it's a C4S part that leaves room for the rear reflector? It's the one cool feature of the c4s that they try to maintain with factory aero kits.

Here’s my 2002 4S. Fabspeed carbon intake, Ruf spoiler and Ruf mufflers but the rest of the exhaust is crap. Ohlins coilovers and the heaviest 19” junk wheels. Trying to decide on wheels now but I want to go down to 18s.
Wheels are silver now and front lip and skirts are black again.

I received an email yesterday reminding me that it's been 22 years since I joined this Forum.

On July 29th, it will be 22 years since I purchased my Artic Silver C4S, which I still own.

It has done 110,000 km and is in "factory fresh" condition, with absolutely no modifications. Every thing works perfectly, even the 6 CD changer.

I have bought and sold several sports cars in the meantime, but I've kept this one because, in my opinion, it's the only one which provides me with genuine driving pleasure.

I currently run 2 987.2's- Cayman s Black Edition and a Boxster S and recently purchased a 718 Boxster GTS 4.0.

The more modern Porsches appear to lack that direct connection and the seamless nature of that flat six. So, here's to the next 22 years.

Greetings from Madrid, Spain.
