Here is some interesting info posted by Rustech over at the 968 Board ... Good thing we were doing triple digits or she would have cought us! Just like smokey and the bandit we were!
We had a good time. Running on the freeway with a bunch of 996's makes me think I need a supercharger!
On the trip to the speedway, I had stopped at the BOFA ATM real quick in Claremont and lost a couple minutes time. In trying to catch back up and traveling a thrilling (but unmentionable) speed, a CHP officer came on the Milliken onramp about 1/4 mile in front of me with lights flashing (
) and racing hard towards the pack. I was lucky I wasn't 7 seconds ahead of schedule. I then took the 15N to the 4th ST exit and took 4th all the way over.

Please give more info on the camera mount ... can I purchase one ... how fast can I go with it on the car assuming I was on the Autobahn ... will it fly off at 186mph?

That must have been the motorcycle cop that passed us when we just got onto the 10. He was in the carpool lane with lights on. I wish I could hear the calls to the CHP to complain about a bunch of porsche's driving crazy on the freeway!!

Oh I forgot about him! hmmm He said that the guy at the shop suctioned the mount to a display case and dragged in four feet. he also said something about hanging from it... Anyway you have to push the release (silver rod) if you want the suction to let go. I think you would be safe at 186...You might look into a camera with aero dynamics capable of those speed *LOL* I think he said it was about $89 which I though was a great price I plan on picking one up.
