Face it, after market intake system dont really do minimal if that in terms of adding horsepower. It does give better flow of air, but if what behind that is restrictive, the the intake wont produce what its manufacturer's claim they will produce.

Just like in terms of traffic ie. five lane freeway comes down to a 2 lane, there is going to to be bumper to bumper traffic. This same goes to the intake system, you have all that free flow air but it cant all go in at the same time.

RSS installed a new throttle body that is larger than a 996 GT3 on my car, and to tell you the truth, this mod should have been common sense for us car guys that want more power. My intake now comes to life and you can defintely here the whine that comes from it. My throttle is that more responsive and effortless revs to higher rpm. Dosent have any hesistation at all when you get on the pedal. Rpms just jump up, not saying it wil be like a v12, but you do notice, hear and feel the difference when you drive your car after.
