3.6L Mufflers

Are all the mufflers for C2 & C4 '01-'04 the same? What's the part # please? I'm looking for a second set L & R.

You meant to say 02-04, right?
Isn't the 01 a 3.4L?

As far as I know, the 996 3.6L cans are all the same.
Sorry I don't know the part number.

Yes, 3.6L muffler are identical for NA engines. 3.4L mufflers have smaller diameter. 3.6L muffler can fit onto 3.4L cars but not the other way around.

djantlive, I thought 3.4 cans will fit on a 3.6L 996...no??
I've heard of guys doing the MK2 mod on 3.4 cans and fitting them on their 3.6L 996's....

Try this 996 111 121 57 and 996 111 131 54 from 00 on.

Thanks, I need to look for a shop too. Any recommendations for a good shop to do the PSE bypass in Chitown or west suburbs?

What's a fair price for two cans coming off of an '02 with about 30k??

Check with LAPORSCHE.com , they might have something for you.
