Windshield Mount - Fabspeed Bypass

First I bought and installed the bypass pipes. Love them but I couldnt video tape anything without a camera. So I bought a new digital video camera. I almost rearended a R6 on the last drive and dine in DC so I bought a video mount for the windshield.

The windshield mount was only $15 at best buy. Only 1 suction cup, but it held nicely.

Here is my first youtube upload too. (using all three of the new toys).

I like being able to see the hood...feels like you are right there.

Dont know about the mt bike mount...I think youd f up the camera if you hit any bumps. However, Sharper Image has a helmit cam for $130 that I looked at the other day that I thought was pretty sweet. SD memory card slid in and you were ready to rock and roll. Waterproof too!!!

TSHACK, Nice vid, especially the bypass sound. I've got the same set up and let me tell you, the OVERPASSES and TUNNELS are the BEST!!!!! Anywho, I have the 3 suction cup mount on the windshield from Chasecam. Had I known about this, I would have probably bought that from best buy instead. I'm picking up my car tomorrow from Intersport with the new springs and GT2M Wing from Misha. Looking forward to the next run.

Boochook...you better post some pics and review for the springs asap!!

Ptarga...where in PA? If its your DD it can be a beast. If its your night and weekender its a dream. Remember...you can swap the stockys for the bypass's in under 45 min and less than that when you get some experience. I have some walmart ramps that I back up onto and it exposes everything perfect. 25 min later I am in silent mode.

I purchased a Chase Cam mount a few years ago. It's been great. Track, Autocross, Sunday drives...it works great!

With the cab, I only have the windshield to stick onto...

Does the chasecam have enough bends in it to stick to the windshield and give me enough room to get the camera mounted so its looking strait out?

first of the video is great. i wish the snoop was not played towards the end, it totally boggles my mind that people upload exhaust videos and then put music over it, seems to defeat the point of the video. however, seems like i am alone on this since almost all exhaust videos on youtube have music so i guess i am just weird. all of this to say, great sounding setup.

The top was down, windscreen and all windows were down too. I wanted to see how much wind noise the camera picked up, and then turned on the radio to see how it picked that sound up too.

Agree with you about the exhaust sound with music...defeats the purpose, but I was posting it as my first video, new camera, new camera mount, and the bypass. Just havin some fun.

It sure does. The head of the mount pivots/rotates to accommodate any camera.
