My PSE quote

My local P dealer quoted me $1,980 for the part and $1,025 for the install, and that is w/o electronics. Seems steep to me...what is everyone else paying?

They are high... Buy the PSE from a board sponsor like Brandywine or Sunset others will have info on who has the best price. As for the install I paid a local shop for $100

Way too high--especially the install. I had only the mufflers installed at an independent Porsche shop for $100--took a little over an hour. You can get PSE for around $1,500 at board sponsors.

I just had mine installed at a Porsche dealer. The install with electronics took about 6 hrs. Most guys on the board say forget the electronics keep it open always. Well I have to disagree I like the option to be able to quite down the exhaust when I want. For example leaving early in morning through your neighborhood it is nice to be quiet Pulling up to a cop car, there always looking for an excuse to hassle you. My service rep. said a lot of customers return to have the electronics installed within a few weeks. Price for install was $570.00 cdn.
