now you've gone and done it...you have asked the question that all V1 lovers swear by...I LOVE MY ARROWS!!!

I will await the 1000 replies on why the arrows are superior....

I guess we are the only two escort guys here...living a desperate and sad life without arrows. Woe is us...woe is us...

AsianImage....... you got that right....... On 99% of the forums, the first thing is about "the arrows". That was the last thing on my mind when I got the v1.

#1 - Performance (equal to X50, V1 more annoying in town)
#2 - Size/Shape (liked better)
#3 - Rear radar detection (V1 had it, others didnt)
#4 - Arrows (sure, nice to know where its coming from, and you're gonna slow down anyway no matter what to start with)

......I will add that the V1 installtion kit that comes with it is VERY complete for multiple setups.

The more information available to me when I am exceeding the legal speed limit, the more chance I have of not getting a ticket.

I love the arrows. I want to know if I am being followed. When that down (rear) arrow comes on and the V1 starts singing fast,,, I know there is someone coming up on me. I cant tell you how many times LE has been behind and even using instant on for other cars, I ve picked up a signal anticipating this scenario. It takes a few months when you get the V1 to get familiar with it. After a period of time you just know when things are real.

I have a better comfort level knowing where the players are when driving fast.

I am sure the non V1 s have merit but I did a lot of vetting on this before buying a V1 and I have zero regrets.

The only issues I have with V1 is the lack of discreete mounting options.

I'm still looking for the rear view mirror to use with the V1 - now that's discreet Though actual mounting of the unit will have to be close by the 3rd brake light, definately not as stealthy as the K40.
