my brother-in-law is considering an '03 996c4 cab in the hartford area. we need an indie to perform a ppi - any recs you guys?

there are very few places who really know 996's and can give you an objective report.

here is the best.

i just bougt a 996 with 50K miles.
my ppi was done by Farnbacher Loles Mmotorsports at danbury airport.
their shop is magnificent, all a/c'ed for the techs comfort. kip their service manager is great, brian the key tech is great, as is robin the parts manager.

if the seller balks about the distance, used AAA gold for a free flatbed tow.

99 dollars to boot, for a super thorough job. they want to make customers by treating you well and they succeeded with this one.

it is a top town class act from greg loles and his wife,- to the secretary.

2nd choice is dan jacobs in oxford where i did biz for several years, but he is now in the used porsche biz so i was concerned about objectivity, especially sinced he had made an offer on the car i eventually bought.

btw. went from a 964 to 996, could not be happier!!

my brother-in-law ended up using musante motorpsports which several rennlisters recommended (he purchased a '02 996 c4 cab). since then, i've also heard that farnbacher loles is supposed to be terrific. thx for the thoughts!
