The insurance carriers in cali are limited- who did you go through for your extended warranty that covers seals as well?

Good luck on your purchase be very careful. These cars are not cheap to repair if something needs fixing.

I have an extended warranty with Fidelity Warranty Services. As long as you take the car to a Porsche dealer for warranty service you will never have a problem with them.

did you get the porsche extended warranty or elsewhere?

ive been reading that i can buy a porsche, bring it in for a full 100pt inspection and get my used porsche certified for 2yrs/100k. however if i buy from a dealer cpo its 6yrs/100k.

so basically in 2 years id have to either try to extend or move on to something else (which isnt a bad idea).

anyone happen to know the cost of getting a cpo warranty for a car bought outside the dealer?

for those who are interested, i got it from warranty direct. however, they dont cover 99-01 911's. if u have 02 or newer you should be fine. The one i bought is called california MBI, it's equivalent to factory bumper to bumper warranty. Make sure u still have at least 2 months of factory warranty (it could be 3 months, i forgot, check their webiste for more info) left before you buy the extended warranty or else they'll ask you to do a PPI.
