Leaking Coolant Tank

Hey Guys,

I need your help. My coolant tank is busted. I spoke with Beverly Hills Porsche and the part cost $110. They want another $500 to install. It is a 20 minute job. They really are thiefs. Does anybody know of any mechanics in the Los Angeles area that you trust or have used before? My direct email address is roshantiques@aol.com and my cell is (310) 739-0202.

Thanks Again Guys,
Solomon

hey- just DIY!! It is not that hard from what i've read. i'm sure members here can point you to some renn and 6speed articles.

BH Porsche are frigging con artists! Stay away!! (the part price is not bad though)

If you do not want to DIY I have a hookup at a reputable porsche repair shop in Torrance area. Let me know.

+1 on DIY. Remimber that you will also need to replace the lost antifreeze; about two quarts in my case.
