PSS9 vs H&R coilovers
PSS9 vs H&R coilovers
who has tried both the h&r and the pss9, and can talk from experience which one is better. and what the difference on the ride is, except for the fact that the pss9 has dampening adjustments.
Johnnie,
sounds awesome if my car was only going to be tracked, but the spring rate is too high. it's too stiff even for the weight for a turbo cab which is the heaviest 996 you can have. i do like the damping and compression dial and camber adjustments, but the my car may fall apart after a year because of the stiffness. i have talked to two people that have them and they thought that they are too stiff even with the compression at it's softest. i did drive some with the setup and liked it, but found it to be a bit stiff for the street. i like the track, but i am not that competitive that i would want such a set up.
thanks for the suggestion. i would think the gt3 which has bilstein coilovers with H&R springs would be ideal for street and track.

I have them and don't think they're that bad, honestly I had a Boxster S with ROW 030 and it was almost worse. I don't even run them at the softest level. They do cost more so if you are not going to track the car at all the PSS9's are probably better for the street. I do notice that the car bounces a little but that may be from lowering the car somewhat. At the track all the problems go away, they do have helper springs so the initial compression is soft and only gets harder on the bigger bumps. The camber plates are nice as you can get -2.0 up front without having to drop the front end 40mm.
