Try a steep hill and release brakes.

Then have them undo the GIAC and try the REVO, and let us know if that's any better.

Are you using the octane gas the chip is rated for? If not, ecu may be pulling timing.

I believe putting a chip on a NA engine is a waste. Only way to make true gains is with a SC. Of course much more $$$, but will get true gains. Exhaust and intake are minimal also even with headers. The bolt ons are ok for some top end gains.

FWIW,

My '99 had been flashed at Sharkwerks. It seemed slower when I left the shop. Within a week, I knew the throttle remap had made a difference. I didn't have the car dyno'ed before and after. But the driveability was certainly more entertaining in the end. I didn't ask for a refund even though it was available. I felt that I got my money's worth.

Its been a week for me.Maybe I got a bad flash, but im not paying a grand to go slower. Im dumping the flash and keeping my fingers crossed that can get back to preflash performance.

restoring your old program is easy... I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

did you at least notice a "sharper" throttle response? your car has e-gas and the GIAC flash should have made it sharper...

Just got flashed back to stock and car feels better.feels just as fast but better throttle responce,at least to me.Just feels like more torque and pushs me back in my seat more.My perception of the flash is too much smoothing with a flat feeling. As soon as I got flashed I wanted more power,it felt soft except for high rpm's.
