Progress Progress Progress...3/4 Done!(aethetically;)

Ok so some of you know that I got some custom wheels but I also 3/4 finished my interior!

I got all new carbon fiber for the interior. All I need is a 3-spoke carbon wheel but that's A LOT of money. I spent a decent amount of money replacing the CF that came with the car from the factory.

In the process I updated the upper console to the 02+ WITH cupholders with adding a 7in Kenwood touchscreen. I also custom made the lower console to fit the AC controls in the top AND have a slot in the bottom. I have only seen 2 other cars with this and I LOVE it! Its how it should of been fromt he factory!

I also got rid of the graphite gray rear console that is standard on the early model years in favor of a black leather one from a newer 911...I was thinking about going CF but I really like the leather look!

Some Yellow accents are in the works for the interior. I really want a 3-spoke wheel though!

And the wheels, well...They speak for themselves Custom finished and with 15mm spacers all around...

Enjoy!

Lookin' really good!
There's a Gemballa 3-spoke black / CF wheel on ebay right now, but missing the airbag.

Looks very nice, may I ask how much the full interior replacement via carbon fiber cost? (I'm thinking of doing it to my 996).

Well as always...It depends how far you want to go...

Eventhough I didn't have the best experience, I would check out www.MACarbon.com for pricing...

Sunset Porsche has good pricing on a lot of the CF stuff as well. I mean look at the link above....over 1000 for a CF wheel with no airbag new! I can't justify that at this point in time...

I would just keep a tight eye on ebay...I have a ebrake and shifter available

Yea it does...When i bought the CF to do the horeshore/console updates, everything came from a turbo...

I have a regular CF Shift **** but it's fading a little bit so I decided to put this one in. I wish it said something else but it's not like im trying to play it off as a turbo by badging it that way...

Im suprized you even noticed! As a side note, the turbo **** is much sleeker feeling in the hand and has a silver top as opposed to a CF top...

If anyone has a carrera CF **** in their turbo and wants to swap let me know!

Nice!

I just changed my interior from blue to black. Most of the pieces came from ebay. Leather for the seats came from LeatherSeats.com

Anyway, great color combos. Might consider PORSCHE mats with yellow lettering.

Haha well the paint isnt PERFECT but it's not how it looks in the picture! I dont know if you can see from the picture but the 1st 5 ft. or so of our driveway where it meets the state road is packed shell...

You have to have a permit from the DOT to connect your driveway to the state road and since the DOT is SO FAST we haven't recieved that permit. I had just cleaned up the car and of course, no matter how slow I went, the white dust stuck to the whole car. We arent moved in yet so I didnt have anything but one towel and I didnt want to scratch the car...

As for the radar...Eventually...I swap between cars too much to worry about it right now. Plus im saving for the SR7 w/shifters...
