First time really pushing Evo's supercharger and it passed with flying colors. Serious power all around. Unfortunately the course was very technical with lots of sharp turns and very few straights (read: none) so my piggy of a 996 was tail happy and just too heavy to really compete on this course. Can't wait for the autocross on the fall here, they do it on a runway.

Renee and I both did 5 runs each, in the official runs her best score beat my best (mine 47.339, hers 46.910. Of course once it didn't count, I punched a 46.110! Oh well.

The cars that did best on this course were small and light -- the overall winner was a Subaru WRX STI at 42.333. Behind that was a '73 911T at 44.76 and a '74 914 at 44.919.

Mine was probably the heaviest car there, but my best score was 10th of 31 drivers, so not too bad.

I look forward to trying it out on a course with some more straightaways to take advantage of the Supercharger!

Yes, the CX of the cab with the top up is almost the same as the coupe, however the experience of driving it with the top down around a track is sooooo good, I almost never track my 996 with the top up (unless it's raining)

 

Those great photos. Your car looks fantastic with the ROW 030. I'd love to put a supercharger on my car, but I don't know if the they are CARB certified and if they work well with the power kit.
