Thumbs up 1st Mod PSE Hack

My car is completely stock, everything I added was OEM except for the PSE hack and I have to say it's WORTH it. The car sounds amazing now, they used a 2.5" pipe and it's a monster over 2500rpm. I'll post some pics and add a sound clip soon. Special thanks to Jayfunk for his help. Anyone in Chitown needs to do this PM me.

From the interior it's not very noticeable until you hit 4000rpm. If you roll down the windows it's on at 2500 rpm. If you're going for a long cruise / trip it's still comfortable.

Welcome to the 3.6L Muffler MKII club.

Now are your mufflers the 3.6L then?

I did this mod a couple of weeks ago and posted vids with audio etc. of the change here:

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...ferrerid=54027

If you go to post 237 you can see the modded mufflers.
If you go to post 256 I have the vids with audio.

If anyone is interested in this and lives in the San Francisco / East Bay area I can point you in the right direction on the mod.

Just did mine a couple of weeks ago and I agree with some of the guys in other forums. The sound is only about 75-80% of "real" PSE. Nonetheless it I'm satisfied with it. My neighborhood is happier.
I'll post sound clips later today.

Yep satisfied I am too with the mod and you are correct, it is not the same as the PSE and your percentages are about right as to how close it is.

Haha..she's trying to say the sound makes her nervous...like butterflies in the stomach.

Do you need to have the car jacked up to remove the mufflers?
I'm thinking of removing them myself and taking them to the muffler shop for the mod.

Jacks

Yes. It helps a lot. You have to do some twisting. You'll need all the room you can get.

Thanks, which means I need to buy a floor-jack, and jack-stands.
Do the wheels need to come off as well?
How long did it take you to remove both cans?
