I purchased all the parts from separate vendors to get the lowest prices. The stereo shop, where I got everything installed, is a Kenwood distributor and couldn't even come close to the prices I got them for.

Kenwood installed

Got mine installed yesterday. Did it a little different. Used a std. faceplate and they have the unit sitting flush at the bottom with a custom trim piece covered in Metro Blue leather. I also had the mic cut into the dummy button on the dash. Oh yeah, got a Beltronics hardwired too. Enjoy!

Are there any screens and button matches besides the blue that match the interior amber better? I'm still on the fence because of that one.

kenwood

Thanks Guys, I really like it, this is how it should have came from the factory. Why can't Kenwood/Garmin OEM this stuff, so much better than the factory nav systems from most manufacturers?

Now for the next project, replace the stock speakers and put in a Alpine 4.100 PDX to drive them.

Make sure you post with your new amp and speakers. I purchased the same alpine amp for my setup it fits nicely in the trunk because of its size. What speakers are you going with?

sorry Confused..totally forgot..I will do that now.

It really helps out when backing up in tight spaces or making sure your kids aren't behind you! Definitely worth it, the angle aspect of the camera is different. I am use to my Eclipse back-up camera which is easier to gauge the closer you get to an object. Just have to get use to this one though.
