And, no Dimissa, it wasn't a ten speed

Hadn't drive the 996 in weeks. Decided to take it to the gym in Mexico yesterday evening. Sometimes I forget just how much fun this car when it sits for so long. I was having such a good time I decided to take these attrocious camera phone shots when I got to the gym parking lot. I should have known they would have come out like crap the way the light was pointing.

Anyway, after I left the gym, some retard on an 05 GSXR600 passess me like I'm on standing still. And he has to buzz my fender as he's going by. No helmet naturally. We eventually have to take the same turn and stop at this light to get back to our village in Mexico. We chit chat for a min or two and then roll through the light. I was goofing around and gun it at about 30. He does the same and passes me by about a car length. I keep my foot in it, real him in, pass him, and then continue to leave him by about 5 car lengths into some, shall we say, higher speeds

We stopped at the next light a few miles down the road. He was shaking his head. All he could say is "wow, that's a fast car". I didn't think my little cab had it in her. Now this doesn't mean I going to start picking on liter bikes. I'll leave that to the stage 5 TT's

Long way to the gym...

Florida to Mexico to get to the gym, boy you like to drive . good to hear from ya thought you dropped off the planet. Good to see your still making alittle trouble. I'll be using FVD for the tuning from germany via internet connection to my house into my cars ECU soon, for basic tune without dyno. Should be interesting.

It's the EVO. Great unit so far. Big bang for the buck. Never thought I would beat a bike. Power delivery is great. The car is making around 510 hp at this point.

I was wondering about you and that project recently. Good to hear you're still working on it. When do you think you'll have the whole thing running and installed in a vehicle?

Damn... you found my ghost name I use on other forums.

No, no shades there. I only wear those when attending fashion shows or purse shopping

Engine and SC is in the car and actually took it down the street but, it bucked like a bronco, way to much fuel. She also had a knock when in gear and driving that I did not like, the noise went away if I pushed in the clutch but I had trouble locating it because it will not idle without a proper tune so that is the next step. Anyway I'm getting there and it's been an experience so far. Please excuse the dirty engine compartment it is just not a high priority right now.
