Colored calipers from ebay....
Colored calipers from ebay....
This is a follow up thread from:https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...27#post1305027
For all of you who didn't go through with the group buy, this is what you missed out on. A couple of us did whoever get a pretty good price on these beautiful powder coated calipers. People were a little scared, myself included because this guy was found on ebay (we all know how that goes), but his work in outstanding. The install is a direct fit, except for the 2 hole for the retaining pin for the brake pads. I had the sand them down just a little bit because of the powder coating (not a big deal at all). Other than that, they were perfect. Here are some pictures, check them out for yourself. I'm sure there will be others that agree with me.
Big thanks to: tony (SpeedDesign) and NYSpeedRacer84 for setting this up.

Thanks for the compliments and again for the business. I'm taking care of the powder in the retaining pin holes. Sorry about that ! Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Is yellow w/black lettering an option, and what is the "6speeder" price?

Since you are now known in '6 speed', you might just get many more orders. I think the ebay genre might have prevented more from this group buy.
Anyway, good work and good luck.

OK I finally got time to do mine. I wasn't sure if I should go with Black or Yellow, but I chose Yellow and I like it. My original calipers were black but the paint was chipping really bad. The Yellow isn't exactly the same as Speed Yellow but close enough. Oh I did use new caliper bolts. I also spent a few minutes cleaning up the area seen through the wheels and painted the hub too so that the wheel looks part of the rotor now and not with a grey area.

I knew the empty Newcastle and SoBe bottles would come in handy
