My Xenons keep turning off. will work on them this weekend.

is there anything you can suggest to help me find the darn problem. It's intermittent, mostly when i go over bumps the light turns off (passenger and sometimes driveR). then i turn off the light switch and back on. and it works again. sometimes at night i drive without noticing which side is off since i have my fogs on also.

Is it the connector part that goes bad?

thanks.

Typically the bulbs don't go bad... 85% of the time, the ignitors (or ignitor modules, whichever you want to call it) go bad.

wdonovan is infamous around these parts
Have you checked that the light assemblies are properly seated in the fenders? Sounds like they're shaking around. Happened to me when one was removed and replaced. I don't see an ignitor failing intermittently like that. Nor a bulb.

Yellowbmr,

I had the same problem last year. I took mine to a local Porsche shop. Found out that my headlight switch was worn out and faulty. Replace the switch and took care of the problem.
