Fabspeed Exhaust

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. Hopefully someone can help answer my question. I have a 2004 C4 Cab / stock exhaust. Looking to upgrade to increase performance along with the overall sound of the car. I'm looking for something a little more aggressive sounding. I've heard a lot of good things about the Fabspeed exhaust along with the cold air kit. Anyone have any experience with either application? Thanks much

you should definitely use the SEARCH feature on here. This very question gets asked pretty much at least 2xs a week. So not being a jerk or anything..but FABSPEED is a very popular choice around here so there are hundreds if not thousands of threads on here regarding your exact question.

have fun researching!

Another thing...try to go to some local meets, then you can hear it for yourself. I see you are in the OC. Man..tons of places to go hang out and hear different exhaust. Check out the events page. You have C&C every sat in Irvine, the Outback meet is happening soon and then you have the German AutoFest in Ventura happening next weekend.

I agreed with AI. I do have Fabspeeds headers/mufflers. And mine is an 02 Cab. It's not loud at idle. Only when you floored it then the beast roar.

If you want more aggressive sound take GHL. GL!

Thanks for the info. I'll take A1 recommendation to attend the meets.

If you can make it to the German auto fest in Ventura next Sunday, a bunch of us are going and several of the 996s have different exhausts. You'll be able to hear several types. There are also two other meets scheduled where you'll be able to hear exhausts. One at the Outback off the 60 freeway in LaPuente and another next Wednesday at a Starbucks (SB) on Fremont in Alhambra. I had an AP exhaust on my 02 and liked the sound of it. Eli has a GHLs, Flojo had his stock muffler modified. You need to listen to as many as possible because they all sound different because it's a very subjective decision.

Check pcars.com for the details on the Outback and SB meets.

Fabspeed MaxFlo

I have a Fabspeed Maxflo on my 2004 C2 and I love it. I work out of my home in North OC, near the 91 and Imperial so if you happen to be nearby sometime let me know and you can hear mine.

FabSpeed and headers

I am selling my 996 C2 cab so I have been piecing out the upgrades. I just sold the FABSPEED exhaust. I loved it was reasonably quite when not pulling, but had a great sound when on it.
Load enough to set off car alarms. I still have the EVOM headers for sale. They added a few more HP and deepened the sound of the exhaust note. PM me if you are interested in the headers, 1/2 price from retail.
