Lets talk about my bulbs

1) I would like to get rid of the only orange left (bottom right)

2) have a bulb out, i believe its right next to the headlight, if i leave my lights on and turn the car off there are suppose to be 2 lights that stay on and only 1 side does. I would like to replace both with a xenon match color

Where do i get these bulbs?

THANKS GUYS!!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...QQcmdZViewItem These may fit your needs...I'd check to make sure they're not just dipped. Also, I actually got rid of the orange box inside my litronics headlights. It makes a difference.

1) To get rid of the orange you need an "amberectomy". Search RennList or RennTech for that phrase for lots of info. Here's a DIY write-up...

2) It sounds like you're refering to the front parking lights or "city lights" as they are called in Europe. It's a H6W bulb which is hard to find in the US in xenon match. I ordered some Philips Blue Vision H6W bubls from an online place in England. Google is your friend.

I haven't developed the stones to do it yet. One Saturday evening this Fall I'll get out the **** Creek -- that should help steady the hand.

There's a good write-up in the owner's manual.

The Philips Blue Vision are blue-cased, but that acts as a filter for the light and the result is fairly white.

Yep, a friend helped me out. We used a soldering iron to cut the amber boxes up. Afterward, we used some needle nose pliers to pull the pieces out. I put in some silver bulbs to finish it up.

size are 7507A, I use chrome bulbs from ebay for 2 years, still holding up well. I've bought couple more for spare just in case.
