Got my wheels today!

Here's some pics of my new HRE's. I spent most of the afternoon yesterday cleaning my wheel wells and installing these. I'm extremely pleased with the results, can't believe these wheels don't rub!.

Thanks to Sam at byDesign for the great deal on the wheels and Asgar at RUF for the tires.

Here's the rear wheel with the 4" lip

The 315 rear's (left) are the same size as the 18 inch 295's

Congrats!

The wheels look great on your car! They really are a great match for your color combination...

Good luck on keeping them that clean!

Absolutely STUNNING!! Great taste you have!

I'm looking for some new wheels for my car, I'm torn between the HRE's and the Gemballas, but your wheels look fantastic on AS.

Congrats!

I got some new wheels myself last week. We have a new baby, so I haven't had time to take photos. This is the only one that I have.

ya know...maybe it's just me but I really like the looks of the 542s when they are put on "backwards". I think Matt at ByDesign had them this way and for some reason...they just stick out in my head. The HRE 542s just seem to go perfectly with the C4S. Nice car!!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I just spent the last two hours getting the car clean for tomorrow's Concorso. Lookig forward to meeting those of you that will be attending. For those that can't make it, I will post pics in the next couple of days.

Cool wheels Josh! Not quite my style, but they look like they're much easier to clean than the HRE's.

As far as the specs are concerned JamE55, here goes:

fronts are 19x8.5 with a 2 inch lip and 235 35 Conti's.
rears are 19x11 with a 4 inch lip and 315 25 Conti's.

Now let's see how long these tires last...

Robert,

I REALLY like your wheels, they compliment your car very well, but I had to settle for something that fit my budget. My wife and I decided that she would take a few months off to take care of our new baby, besides, have you priced baby formula or diapers lately?

The guys without kids may think that cost of diapers and formula question is funny...but that adds up man. You start to wonder what kind of mods could be had if only the kiddo would learn to use the head.
