rEdLiNeR is infamous around these parts
97 vs. 98

Are there any big differences between the 97 carrera and the 98 carrera S? Also are there any differences other then 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive and the added power, between the carrera and the C2S and the C4S, like stock brakes or suspesion? If i was going to buy one what would be the best way to go?

If you live in the US, the last year of the 993 was 1998. The "S" model was a widebody version of the 993 C2 or C4. The C2, C4 and C2s have the same suspension and brakes. The C4s has the suspension and brakes of the Turbo 993 as I recall. Same motor on all 4 models.

Which model? That's a personal choice. The C2s is the most rare, and seem to be holding their value well. The C4s is the next in line holding value, however, you can get a good deal on a C2 or C4.

Good luck.
